Named with intent, this catamaran provides the generous volume and considered design typically associated with a significantly larger vessel. Its streamlined profile ensures efficient movement, a silent glide across open water, reflecting a modern approach to private seafaring. The vessel's architecture prioritizes space and flow, engineered for both performance and guest comfort. Accommodation includes five spacious en-suite cabins: four double configurations and one twin, convertible to a double as needed. Each interior space, from the fully appointed galley to the expansive living area and dedicated bar zones on both decks, is curated for understated indulgence. Pantelis is an experienced captain with a strong love for sailing who has brought numerous yachts to Greece from the biggest shipyards in the world. In addition to having a strong work ethic, a dedication to excellence, and meticulousness, he is trustworthy and resourceful. Pantelis is a positive, energetic person with outstanding communication abilities. To provide his guests the most enjoyable and unforgettable sailing experience, he always takes into account their preferences and combines them with his knowledge of the Greek islands! As he and his guests cruise the stunning Greek Islands in HYDRUS, he looks forward to a fantastic summer.

Chef Sotiris Vlachos is a passionate and dedicated culinary professional with experience in both high-paced restaurant kitchens and yachting environments. Specializing in Mediterranean and Greek cuisine, he focuses on fresh ingredients and creative presentation to deliver flavorful, well-balanced dishes tailored to guests’ preferences.

Having progressed from junior roles to Head Chef positions, Sotiris brings strong skills in menu planning, provisioning, and kitchen management. He has a solid background in à la carte service, grill cuisine, and team supervision, combined with excellent organization and HACCP knowledge. His experience also includes onboard service, making him well-adapted to the demands and pace of life at sea.

He is known for his positive attitude, professionalism, and commitment to continuous improvement, always aiming to create a memorable dining experience for guests. Fluent in Greek and English, Sotiris is a reliable and adaptable team player who brings enthusiasm, creativity, and consistency to every charter.

From Ancient Greek Mythology and myths in Astronomy to the numerical values of ‘5’ in Pythagorean Numerology and ‘3’ in Chaldean Numerology, it is no coincidence that this 2023 Lagoon 55 has been aptly named ‘Hydrus’ after the Greek Primordial God of Fresh Water. The comforts of Lagoon 55 may be easily resembled to a much larger Lagoon with all the privileges and pleasures it has to offer. Hydrus has ‘5’ very spacious cabins consisting of 4 double en-suite cabins and 1 twin en-suite cabin which converts to a double if required. All cabins are airy and have a flow of indulgence, with mood lighting and a color palette that soothes yet stimulates your senses. This flow carries through to all other interior and exterior spaces. Hydrus’ features include upper and lower deck bar area and dining areas, upper and lower deck sunbathing and socializing areas, a fully decked galley with all contemporary amenities and a superbly serene as well as a spacious living room area. Last but not least, the fierce S/Y Hydrus has a crew of ‘3’, ready and able to assist and support your needs and wishes while sailing towards your ultimate vacation experience.
