An RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and PADI Divemaster, he brings the steady hand and deep seamanship that allow guests to relax fully, knowing they are in safe and capable hands.

What sets Kemba apart is the way he balances professional command with a sense of vitality and play. As a certified coach and trainer, he opens the door for guests to welcome the day with sunrise breathwork, mindful movement, or quiet meditation on deck—simple practices that can reset body and mind. Adventure is always within reach, whether that means diving a reef, sailing between islands, tubing behind the tender, or joining in a round of beach Olympics on shore. When evening comes, the pace naturally softens: cocktails mixed by Kemba, dishes created by Emily, and conversations that flow easily after a day shaped by salt, sun, and sea.

For Kemba, a charter aboard is about creating an experience that is as lively as it is restorative, weaving together adventure, renewal, and connection. Emily brings a rare blend of science and artistry in the galley of La Sirena with her Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and years of experience as a baker, retreat chef, nutrition coach, and quality assurance manager for one of the America’s largest and most innovative craft breweries.

Her health-forward cuisine is fresh, flavorful, and mindfully crafted to nourish guests while catering to individual preferences. For Emily, food is an opportunity for connection. She believes every meal should engage the senses, fortify the body, and bring people together. The elements of her dishes are carefully designed to balance flavor, texture, color, and nutrition. With dessert being her favorite meal, she invites guests to satisfy their sweet tooth and indulge with an open invitation to request their favorite flavors.

Emily, nicknamed “Emjoy”, brings a playfulness to the galley, where she invites impromptu dance parties while whipping up her magic with love. As a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor, Emily also offers the opportunity to enjoy energizing or restorative yoga sessions and full-body sculpt classes. Her warmth and attentiveness will make you feel like you have everything you need to relax, be merry, and fully savor your time on La Sirena.

As a dynamic couple, Kemba and Emily bring a rare blend of maritime experience, hospitality, and holistic wellness to every charter. Married and working together for over four years, they have co-led international retreats, toured the U.S in their R.V hosting workshops, and built a successful online fitness platform.

Onboard La Sirena, their complementary strengths create a one-of-a-kind experience: Kemba’s leadership, seamanship, wellness coaching and watersports instruction paired with Emily’s culinary artistry, yoga guidance, and attentive hospitality. Together with their passion for sharing a vibrant and playful lifestyle, guests are invited into an immersive journey that blends breathtaking sailing with nourishing cuisine, joyful exploration, and optional wellness practices.
