Welcome to SHADES OF GREY

The Sunreef 80 SHADES OF GREY is defined by its clean, elegant lines, deliberately free of extraneous design. Interiors balance warm grey tones with a modern green, creating a fresh, harmonious environment. This considered aesthetic prioritizes immediate comfort and unobstructed views, eschewing 'loud' elements for an atmosphere of calm. It is a space designed for clarity and ease. Accommodations are precise: a starboard master features a king bed, sofa, dressing table, and walk-in wardrobe, with a spacious en suite. A second starboard double offers a queen bed and en suite. Portside, a VIP cabin, slightly larger, holds a queen bed and walk-in wardrobe. A forward port guest cabin provides three single beds and an en suite. Collective areas include a saloon with dual lounge sofas and a convertible black glass table for ten. Aft and foredecks offer additional dining and lounge zones. The flybridge presents a U-shaped dining area for ten, a full-width sunbathing zone, and a bar. This space also serves as a discreet spa. Water amenities are comprehensive, with an E-Foil, two Seabobs, and a waterslide.

Francesco Volpato

Chef

Francesco comes from a sea salty family, countless generations of fishermen from the Bay of Naples. Growing up by the sea, a life on the water was inevitable. For over a decade, Francesco has been sailing professionally around the world, delivering yachts and captaining luxury charters across some of the most breathtaking destinations.

Beyond sailing, his passions lie in philosophy, meditation, and martial arts, disciplines that shape his approach to both the sea and life. An avid water sports enthusiast and fisherman, he continues the traditions of his ancestors but now on a global scale.

Deeply connected to the ocean, he is also highly sensitive to and respectful of the marine environment, always striving to minimize his impact and protect the waters he calls home. Captain Francesco speaks beside his mother tongue Italian, of course English and French, but also Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese.

Francesco Volpato is an accomplished Italian chef with over 12 years of experience in international hospitality and catering. Throughout his career, he has held positions such as Junior Sous Chef and Senior Chef de Partie in high-end restaurants and seasonal luxury venues across Italy, the UK, Switzerland, and New Zealand. His background includes working in dynamic, high-pressure kitchens, from fine dining establishments to premium seasonal operations.

Specializing in fresh pasta and first courses, Francesco combines strong technical expertise with a refined approach to presentation, menu planning, and the use of high-quality seasonal ingredients. He is highly skilled in kitchen organization, inventory management, and maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards. Known for his professionalism, teamwork, and calm attitude under pressure, Francesco consistently delivers elevated dining experiences tailored to guests’ preferences and expectations..

Cabin plan

If you had to describe the Sunreef 80 SHADES OF GREY in one sentence, you would say that this Sunreef 80 impresses with its clean, elegant design and is truly no 'grey mouse'. Warm shades of grey, combined with a modern green, give the interior a fresh and very elegant look. You will immediately feel at home on board as there are no 'loud' design elements to obstruct the view and everything is simply harmonious. The master cabin is located in the middle of the starboard side and has a king-size bed, a small sofa for relaxing, a dressing table and a walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom with shower is very spacious. Also to starboard is the double cabin (queen size bed) with a comfortable en suite bathroom. On the port side, amidships, is the VIP cabin (queen-size bed), which is slightly larger than the double cabin and has a walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom is also slightly larger. Forward on the port side is the guest cabin with three comfortable single beds and an en-suite shower room. The beds are 80 x 200 cm and the bunk beds are staggered so that the upper bed is easy to reach. The saloon is all about relaxing together, with two really big lounge sofas. In the centre is a black glass table that can be converted into a dining table for up to 10 people in bad weather. The aft deck has a large dining table that can seat up to 10 people and a lounge sofa. There is also a lounge with a coffee table on the foredeck. On the flybridge, the SHADES OF GREY has another large dining table, perfect for up to 10 guests, with a U-shaped seating area. Behind this is a full width sunbathing area. Forward of the helm position is an attractive bar, where you can enjoy a drink or have a snack from the chef. The flybridge is transformed into a spa area when the stewardess sets up her massage table and pampers guests with a feel-good massage. There is also a wide range of water sports on board, including an E-Foil, two Seabobs and numerous other water toys, as well as a water slide. And it's not just the kids who have fun!
